The Case of the Missing iPad- Detective theme party for my 9 year old daughter!

After my husband accidentally broke our daughter's iPad, we decided to turn the moment into something fun, memorable, and totally unexpected. Instead of just handing her a new device, we created an interactive birthday mystery—“The Case of the Missing iPad.” The twist? The new iPad was the grand reveal.

I designed all the custom party decorations except for the backdrop (I ordered that from Dexte Denim on instagram). The result? A fully immersive, mystery-themed birthday that had every kid feeling like a real detective!

From the moment her friends walked in, they were pulled into the storyline. I styled a room in my home like a mini crime scene: think “evidence” markers, caution tape, and moody lighting mixed with playful pops of color.
